Panther Robotics Varsity Lettering Standards

Lettering Standards

Starting in the 2022-2023 season, you can now earn a Letter in Robotics. This is to reward students who go above and beyond in their activities. Here are the requirements for how to earn one.

  • Be In Good Standing* with the team.

  • Attend all District Qualifying Events (there are typically 2 per contest season)

  • Significant Volunteer Work representing our team.  This could include; working contests at FLL, FTC or FRC levels (not attended or hosted by us), Beautify Bonney Lake or Assisting with FLL mentoring, etc. 

  • Participate in 2 Off-season Activities (Such as Girls Gen, Seafair, 8th grade parent night, District Sci fair, Middle school and Elementary outreach, Beautify Bonney Lake, and others)  

  • Participate in Offseason Training, and/or Fundraising in a significant way (Sotbabot FRC training, Sub Group summer training)  Panther Camp Counselor. 

  • The student has supported their Sub-Team in a significant way (during the season)

  • Students will submit ‘Varsity Letter Application’

*A Robotics year is defined as the end of the academic school year through the end of the next academic year.  (start of summer to the end of the next school year)

 

*To be In Good Standing with the team, a student is in academic good standing (passing all classes) and is not in a disciplinary situation with the team (major rules violation).
