Wrapping up 2019 With Panther Robotics 3218

As 2019 comes to an end, the Panther Robotics team wishes the community a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If you attended the Santa Parade, you saw the 3218 competition robot from 2019 accompanied by team members handing out candy canes with the Panther Robotics' logo, holding signs, and waving our spirit flag. If you didn't have a chance to make it to the parade, we will be marching in it next year, so keep an eye out! You can also see our 2020 robot at the reveal dinner as well as FRC competitions!

The Santa Parade was a success for the team with 1,500 candy canes handed out, fun Christmas karaoke with requests from the crowd, a trailer overflowing with lights, and of course our robot. We are proud to be apart of such a welcoming and supportive community. We love spreading the word about the robotics program at Bonney Lake High School and getting young students interested in STEM.

For the last meeting of the year, Panther Robotics decorated Christmas cookies as a team bonding activity. There are many new members this year and as everyone knows, baked goods are the best way to show anyone and everyone a warm welcome. The team is also sad to be losing the senior members but we are excited to have one final competition season with them. As the graduating students prepare for their transition into college life, they pass their knowledge on to younger members to keep the team thriving.

Right around the corner is the FIRST Robotics' kick off, in the meantime we will be enjoying the holidays and preparing for a great season where we plan to successfully compete our way to Nationals in Houston. We invite the community to be a part of our team. To do so, anyone can reach out to share your thoughts and support anytime.

Happy Holidays to all!
